This fair is your chance to check out government scholarships, meet reps from local universities, and learn how AI is shaping the future of work during our panel discussion. A bit of prep can go a long way — so use the guide below to get the most out of your experience!
✅ BEFORE THE EVENT: Prepare with Purpose
1. Review the floor plan
Look through the floor plan before arriving.
Identify:
Scholarship partners you’re interested in (especially the Singapore Government scholarship booth)
Universities or programmes you want to explore
Prioritise the booths you must visit, as time is limited.
2. Download/ Make a copy of the Guided Worksheet
Use the curated worksheet to:
Write down 3–5 questions you want to ask universities or scholarship providers
Bring the worksheet (printed or digital) with you on the day.
3. Sign up for the panel discussion (Optional on sign up basis only)
The panel discussion “AI and the World of Work” (1:00–2:00 pm) is sign-up based.
Register early to secure your seat.
Try to prepare at least one question related to AI, careers, or future skills.
4. Set personal goals
Ask yourself:
Am I exploring scholarships, university pathways, or both?
Am I looking for clarity, confirmation, or new options?
1. Start with your priority booths
Follow your planned route using the floor plan.
Begin with scholarship providers or universities that align most closely with your interests.
2. Use the Guided Worksheet actively
Take notes while speaking to representatives:
Entry requirements
Application timelines
Bond obligations (for scholarships)
Internship, exchange, or career support opportunities
Compare options directly on the worksheet.
3. Ask thoughtful questions
Examples:
“What kind of students do well in this programme/scholarship?”
“What career pathways do graduates typically pursue?”
“How is AI integrated into the curriculum or future job roles?”
4. Network respectfully
Introduce yourself clearly.
Thank representatives for their time.
Collect brochures or contact details for follow-up.
5. Attend the panel discussion (If you have signed up)
Arrive on time if you have signed up.
Take notes on:
How AI is changing jobs and industries
Skills you should start building now
Participate in the Q&A if possible.

Highlight:
Top 2–3 universities or programmes
Scholarships you are seriously considering
Note any gaps in information you still need.
2. Do follow-up research
Visit official websites of universities and scholarship bodies.
Check application deadlines, eligibility criteria, and required documents.
3. Discuss your options
Talk through your findings with:
Teachers or HCI ECG counsellors
Parents or guardians
Use your worksheet as a discussion tool.
4. Take next steps
Set reminders for application deadlines.
Start preparing documents (personal statements, portfolios, etc.).
Consider attending future talks or arranging campus visits.
This fair is not about deciding everything in one day—it’s about gaining clarity, asking the right questions, and opening doors. Stay curious, take notes, and be proactive.

The panel discussion focuses on how artificial intelligence will change jobs and careers in the future? This talk aims to help you understand how AI is reshaping the world of work and what skills will remain important. You will learn how to prepare for future careers by building adaptable, human-centred skills and using AI responsibly, so you could navigate career choices with greater confidence.
